Students learn from artists and professionals in a hands-on environment, with the opportunity to make career contacts as well as lifelong friends. In turn, we ask you to take an active part in your education. Interior Design Program
You've always been able to create an atmosphere in any type of space. You love what color, texture, fabric and lighting can do. Interior designers know that Ponderosa Pine can warm a room, while red can stimulate an appetite. They can create a mood for a romantic supper club, or enhance an ultra-efficient work environment. They can manage traffic flow, as well as structural demands. Interior Design is about creating an environment where form and function merge. It's working around odd angles, placing furniture or making the best use of natural light. It's also about getting the most out of a project budget, whatever size that budget may be. Professionals in the field are skilled in psychology, architecture and some computerized drafting. Can you mix artistry and science on the same project? Interior designers do it every day.
