Interior Designer's Philosophy
Haruko Yoshida chose the design profession because she strongly enjoys people and creativity. She works with you to clarify and customize your own visions, needs and goals so that your finished project will be both functional and aesthetically pleasing to you. In her early years, Haruko gained an appreciation of the Japanese principles of harmonious design, which are international in theory and enhance all styles of interior design. She will apply these principles to your particular project.
Interior Designer's Specialties
Projects vary in size and scope, from specific rooms to entire homes and offices, and from restaurants and banks to full medical facilities. Haruko has designed prominent homes throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, in New York, and in Japan. Commercial projects include: UCSF; Cupertino Dental Group; Dave Wong's Chinese Cuisine, Stockton; USF; and UOP School of Dentistry, San Francisco.
Interior Designer's Profile
Integrafika Design Studio is owned by interior designer Haruko Yoshida and graphic designer Sunao Ishii. Haruko is a Professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers and is a Certified Interior Designer in the State of California. Her projects have been featured in "Architectural Digest", "San Francisco Focus", and various international magazines. She is skilled in conceptualizing, executing, managing and supervising all phases of residential and commercial interior design projects, and is experienced in working with architects and contractors.
Born in Tokyo, Haruko has designed properties in the United States since 1978, following her professional studies in Japan and California. She graduated from the Rudolph Schaeffer School of Design, and also from the California College of Arts and Crafts, where she earned a BFA Degree with Distinction in Environmental Design.
