Interior designer Steven Miller founded Steven Miller Design Studio (SMDS) in 1999. SMDS provides interior design services and counsel for every stage of design development for both residential and commercial spaces. Miller’s style is sophisticated and stylish; most of all though, he is known for the sense of fun and whimsy that enlivens all his work. This is Via Los Altos, Steven Miller’s project. |

Eldridge Smerin was formed by Nick Eldridge and Piers Smerin in 1998. Their work has built a reputation for producing intelligent and memorable solutions in response to their varied clients’ briefs, creating beautifully detailed buildings and interiors within often tightly constrained budgets. Rubih Hage is a qualified architect and interior designer, graduating in 1991 from the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. Between 1989 and 1991 Rabih worked on hi-tech commercial projects assisting renowed French architects and engineers. During this time Rabih was involved in landmark works such as the TGV train stations of Paris Montparnasse and Nantes, and the 1992 French Pavilion at the Seville Expo. Rabih has won a string of awards and competitions including the Brithish Interior Design Association’s (BIDA) Interior Designer of the year in 2004. This is Portland Place, Rubih Hage’s portfolio. |

Jessica and husband Yianni bought this fixer in Southeast Portland with the goal of restoring the house to its original charm, while creating a comfortable home for their growing family. Yianni and Jessica did much of the work themselves: performing major wall repair; setting tile; adding moldings - which should have been original; installing doors and windows; painting; and building an exterior retaining wall. |
