Sweden has a lot of beautiful apartments and have presented several of them in our articles. This is another apartment, this time located in Vasastan, a region in Stockholm, Sweden.
This 141 square meter home with a double-height living area and 3,5 rooms mirrors a modern lifestyle, yet with respect for the traditional. With a dominant white and gray color palette, the overall impression is that of space and soberness. Classic details which characterize the historic building of this home are mixed with modern elements, with harmonious results.
Overlooking the living room, an upper-level office/library loft offers a secret spot to sneak away and do some quiet reading. The apartment boasts unusual quirks, like the built-in shelving that extends through the living room right up to the loft, accessed by a set of steps that blend right in with the shelves. Exposed beams zigzag overhead, outfitted with lights that further illuminate the space. In the dining room, white floors, ceilings and walls seem to swallow you up, punctuated by unusual “stepped” architectural accents appearing in the plastered walls. A rooftop terrace is the jewel in the crown – a small, but great escape.

What a wonderful and unique looking apartment! Hats off to whoever designed this place. The clean lines and white and gray colour palette give a real clinical finish that I find myself liking alot.
