arbon Bar is designed by Khosla Associates and it is located in Hyderabad, India. Sandeep Khosla, Amaresh Anand and Dhaval S. were in the design team. It is part of the Park Hotel that is designed as a contemporary palace inspired by the erstwhile Nizam of Hyderabad’s jewels.

The bar is created with highly faceted structure, faceted labyrinth that references the multiple facets of a black diamond. The walls, the ceiling, the settings, the tables, the entire space is covered in this black, precious theme. The color palette includes monotones of copper and dark champagne.

In the sharp edges of the walls and ceilings are placed dimmable leds, these have the capability to be pre-programmable so they can change colour altering the mood of the space. Blue, purple, red, with one of these colors the light will reveal the beauty of the polished diamond.

Behind the dj counter, on the triangulated wall are played impressive projections. This design, completed in a abstract and futuristic way succeeded to imitate the heart of a diamond. Inside Carbon Bar the clients are captured and surprised by the dark, mysterious “heart”. The bar has an original design that will impress for sure its visitors.
