For the Formosa 1140 town houses in West Hollywood, architect Lorcan O’Herlihy designed a metallic skin that wraps around the building in shades of red. The skin helps diffuse light and heat, provides privacy for outdoor walkways and gives the building a funky geometric look.

O’Herlihy used design elements he saw in European boutique hotels, such as all-white bathroom cabinetry and counters.

I’m looking for a new look for my bedroom. I’m thinking maybe of going for a modern theme but I’m not sure where to look. Anyone have any ideas?

I love the interior design, it’s uncomplicated and modern, however I can’t get past the red metal exterior.
It looks like something that was built in the 80’s to look modern…

I love the red and white look. It’s contemporary and young. Beautiful houses!
